I worked in Private Practice as a Psychotherapist specialising in Relationship challenges & Trauma for more than 6 years. In 2022 I qualified as a Clinical Supervisor. In my Private Practice I was seeing up to 25 clients a week either in person or online. Once qualifying as a Supervisor I have reduced my client hours and now focus on Supervision and running Aylesbury Therapy, which is a Therapy Centre I opened in October 2023!

My passion for supporting and mentoring counsellors comes from my own experience of lone working. I found a real lack of support and motivation outside my individual supervision. I tried so many differenet avenues of marketing and networking but struggled to find anyone UK based or any local groups of like minded therapists. I now run a centre where I rent rooms to a range of therapists and counsellors who do not have a space to see clients in person. The centre also offers, workshops, group supervision and a support network for all therapists in the area regardless if they use the rooms for client work or not.

Look out for our new monthly event, Therapists Thriving, which will be a personal development group open to all local counsellors and therapists to share their successes and their challenges. The monthly sessions will have a theme and we hope to invite along a range of specialist guest speakers!
